Fish sanctuary in Westmoreland; all fishing including spearfishing prohibited except under licence and the Minister's directions (SFCA Reg. 4). Official boundary starts at Point A, a land-based mark at Belmont Point (18 deg 09' 9.432" N, 78 deg 01' 58.449" W).

Under the Fisheries Act, 2018 (s.25) no person may engage in fishing without the appropriate licence, authorization or permit, and contravention is an offence.
