Kudarah Thila is a celebrated small coral pinnacle in South Ari Atoll (Alif Dhaal), gazetted as a Marine Protected Area (MPA, 269 ha) by the EPA under EPPA 4/93, decree E/95/32, declared 27 Sep 1995. Spearfishing is prohibited nationwide (Section 12(a), R-75/2020); fishing inside this Ministry-gazetted MPA is separately prohibited (Section 12(b)).
