Monumento Natural Laguna de Las Marites 处鱼叉捕鱼的相关规定。
Coastal natural monument (Monumento Natural) on the south-eastern littoral of Isla de Margarita (Nueva Esparta), declared by Decreto N. 1.633 of 27 February 1974 (Gaceta Oficial N. 30.342, 2 March 1974); a ~3,674 ha hypersaline coastal lagoon (albufera) fringed by black, red and white mangroves with marine seagrass beds and algae, managed by INPARQUES (WDPA 310, classified as a Marine and Coastal Protected Area). As a Monumento Natural, underwater/spearfishing (pesca submarina) and commercial fishing are expressly prohibited under Decreto 276 (Reglamento Parcial de la Ley Organica para la Ordenacion del Territorio sobre Administracion y Manejo de Parques Nacionales y Monumentos Naturales, 9 June 1989), Art. 19.2.

Apply at an INSOPESCA office with the form from the INSOPESCA website, RIPAC/Registro de Pesca enrollment, ID copy (100% enlarged), FVAS membership card copy (both sides, 100% enlarged), proof of payment of 2 tax units, and invoice or sworn declaration of speargun ownership. Visit the regional sub-office for speargun inspection and document signing, obtain the Porte de Arpon Deportivo from DAEX, then return to the sub-office to collect the definitive permit.
