How spearfishing is treated at Governor Island Marine Nature Reserve, Bicheno, Tasmania.

Tasmania's best-known dive reserve, off Bicheno on the east coast: a 50 ha no-take reserve extending about 400 m from the shoreline of Governor Island and taking in Alligator Rock. No fishing of any kind — spearfishing included — is allowed. The western boundary is marked by white paired poles.
