No-take marine nature reserve around subantarctic Macquarie Island, covering all waters from the high-water mark seaward to three nautical miles. No fishing or setting of fishing gear of any kind — spearfishing included — is allowed. The island is a strictly managed nature reserve and World Heritage area; access requires a permit.
