How spearfishing is treated at Marengo Reefs Marine Sanctuary, Victoria.

One of Victoria's 11 marine sanctuaries (~12 ha, protecting Little Henty Reef, a fur-seal haul-out ~150 m offshore of Hayley Point) - a no-take marine protected area under the National Parks Act 1975 (Vic), managed by Parks Victoria. All fishing including spearfishing is prohibited and spear guns may not be used or carried. Just south of Apollo Bay (Marengo).
