How spearfishing is treated at Point Cooke Marine Sanctuary, Victoria.
One of Victoria's 11 marine sanctuaries (the largest, protecting ~290 ha of shoreline) - a no-take marine protected area under the National Parks Act 1975 (Vic), managed by Parks Victoria. All fishing including spearfishing is prohibited and spear guns may not be used or carried. Off Point Cook in western Port Phillip Bay.
