Overview

How spearfishing is treated at Bonaire National Marine Park.

Entire waters around Bonaire and Klein Bonaire from the high-water line to 60 m depth. Spearfishing and possession of mechanical underwater hunting gear / hand spears are totally prohibited (Art. 10). Only lionfish hunting with a STINAPA ELF tool/permit is exempt.
