Federal integral-protection ecological station (Decreto 98.864/1990) covering 29 islands/islets/reefs (plus a 1 km marine buffer around each) across Baía da Ilha Grande, Baía da Ribeira and Baía de Paraty (Angra dos Reis/Paraty, RJ); landing, diving, fishing and anchoring are prohibited within its limits (MMA: 'Sem pesca em Tamoios' / 'proibido desembarcar, mergulhar, pescar, fundear e construir').
