Overview

How spearfishing is treated at Federal conservation units / marine protected areas (no-take zones).

Spearfishing and other extractive fishing are prohibited inside no-take (protecao integral) conservation units such as national parks and biological reserves (e.g. Fernando de Noronha Marine National Park, Abrolhos Marine National Park), managed by ICMBio.
