Federal marine national park created in 2013 off Pontal do Parana, between Guaratuba and Paranagua bays (~10 km offshore), ~1,360 ha, managed by ICMBio. Classified as a no-take integral-protection unit where fishing and resource extraction (including spearfishing) are prohibited.
