How spearfishing is treated at Xuwen National Coral Reef Nature Reserve.
National coral reef nature reserve (10,867 ha) on the southern Leizhou Peninsula at Dengloujiao, Xuwen county, Zhanjiang, Guangdong - the largest contiguous coral reef on China's continental shelf. As a national marine nature reserve protecting state-protected stony corals, extractive activities including fishing/spearing are prohibited in the protected reef areas.
