What this zone is
Overview
How spearfishing is treated at First fishing zone (lagoons, rivers and coastal waters out to 6 nautical miles).
Salt and brackish waters of lagoons and rivers up to 6 nautical miles from the baselines, reserved for artisanal fishing and aquaculture. Sport fishing is authorised in all zones cited in Article 10 (Art. 18); this inshore zone is where freediving spearfishing in apnea is practicable.
