How spearfishing is treated at Sand Bluff Replenishment Zone (Grand Cayman).
Replenishment Zone under the enhanced Marine Parks (National Conservation Act): only line fishing / fishing from shore is allowed, and spearguns, pole spears, fish traps and nets are prohibited (no conch or lobster may be taken) — spearfishing is banned.

Apply to the Department of Environment. Speargun licence applications are accepted annually between 1 June and 31 August. As of the March 2026 Conservation Council decision, the DoE was preparing to (re)commence issuing and renewing licences.
