Overview

How spearfishing is treated at Parc territorial de Musha (Musha/Moucha territorial park).

All fishing in any form, plus coral and shell collection, prohibited; narrow exception only for Djiboutian professional fishers for finfish in the Dankali bank zone. Part of the Iles Moucha-Maskali protected area (Law 45/AN/04). Boundary in decree: north points at lat 11°45' N / lng 43°12'6 E and lat 11°41'12 N / lng 43°13' E.

License requiredvia Direction de la Peche (Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Maritime Economy - MAEM); Service des Affaires Maritimes for non-professional permits

Application to the Direction de la Peche using the official forms (annexes 1 and 2 of Arrete 2007-0036), with technical opinion of the Direction de la Peche and payment of fees. Not applicable to spearfishing, which is prohibited.
