How spearfishing is treated at Parque Nacional das Illas Atlanticas - Arquipelago de Ons e Onza (Galicia).

The Ons and Onza archipelago unit of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park, at the mouth of the Ria de Pontevedra (2,171 ha of sea). Recreational fishing inside the park is a serious statutory offence and diving needs express authorisation, so spearfishing is prohibited.

License requiredvia Competent fisheries authority of the coastal Autonomous Community (órgano competente de la comunidad autónoma del litoral)

Apply through the fisheries authority of the relevant coastal Autonomous Community (online or in person). A medical certificate of fitness for underwater/free-diving (issued by a doctor qualified in hyperbaric/underwater medicine), or a valid federation licence covering the medical, plus suitable accident insurance, is generally required. ID (DNI for citizens; NIE/passport for foreigners) and payment of the regional fee are needed.
