Reserva de Pesca de la desembocadura del rio Guadalquivir - zona A (cauce principal, Andalucia)

Zone A of the Guadalquivir estuary fishing reserve: the whole main channel of the river between the cross-line at Tarfia (vertices 1-2) and the cross-line at Bajo de Guia, Sanlucar de Barrameda (vertices 3-4), about 32 km of channel. Article 3 of the Orden de 16 de junio de 2004 (BOJA 123), as amended by the orders of 11 January 2005, 6 July 2010, 29 June 2022 and 14 February 2024, prohibits every form of fishing activity there; the only exceptions are intertidal shellfishing on foot and blue-crab capture by boats specifically authorised under an eradication plan (currently the Orden de 5 de noviembre de 2025, in force to 31 December 2027). Recreational fishing, including spearfishing, is therefore prohibited in the whole of zone A. Zone B of the same reserve, the coastal sector seaward of the Bajo de Guia line, is not open to spearfishing either: art. 4.4 allows recreational fishing there only with lines or hook gear, a maximum of six hooks per licence, which does not include a speargun.
