ZEP II-Boca da ria (Reserva Marina de Interese Pesqueiro Ria de Cedeira, Galicia)

Special protection zone II of the Cedeira fisheries marine reserve: the band across the mouth of the ria between the line Punta Castrelo - Punta Folgoso to the south and the line Punta de tierra de A Chirlateira - O Ensebadoiro to the north (Decreto 28/2009 art. 3.3). Article 6, as corrected by the correccion de erros published in DOG 49 of 11 March 2009, prohibits all maritime fishing, all extraction of fauna and flora and all underwater activity there; the only exceptions are traditional gillnet fishing, goose-barnacle harvesting, expressly authorised scientific sampling and sport diving. The diving permission is expressly gear-stripped - art. 4.g allows it only on condition that divers carry no instrument usable to fish or take marine species, a safety knife excepted - and recreational fishing is not excepted at all, so spearfishing is prohibited. The Orde do 18 de agosto de 2010 repeats the ban on carrying any fishing instrument while diving or aboard the vessel.
