What this zone is
Overview
How spearfishing is treated at Hasto-Buso military firing and danger area (Gulf of Finland, Raseborg).
The Finnish Defence Forces (Nyland Brigade) use the Hasto-Buso area in the Gulf of Finland off Raseborg for firing with infantry and boat weapons, flares and explosives. During exercises the danger area extends ~15 km seaward (between lines Storsundsharun-Langskar-Langden and Hasto-Buso-Graharun-Aggharuna). Access (and thus diving/spearfishing) is closed during published firing periods; part of the area falls within the Ekenas Archipelago National Park where landing/restricted-area rules also apply.
