Overview

How spearfishing is treated at St Sampson's Harbour (diving/swimming prohibited).

Defined harbour area of St Sampson (extending west of a line running from the northern extremity of Longue Hougue Basin to the south-eastern extremity of the North Pier, including the basin). Swimming and diving within Guernsey Harbours is prohibited without the express permission of the Harbourmaster; only authorised commercial divers may dive within the harbour, so recreational spearfishing/freediving is not permitted here.
