Overview

How spearfishing is treated at Ile Alcatraz (Ile Alcatraz et Ile du Naufrage).

Small lateritic islet on the continental shelf ~40 km southwest of Iles Tristao; the only known breeding colony of brown booby (Sula leucogaster) between Cape Verde and São Tomé. Important Bird Area / protected seabird site.
