Overview

How spearfishing is treated at Réserve Naturelle Gérée des Iles Tristao.

Mangrove and estuarine marine protected area in northern Guinea (Kogon/Kapatchez delta); Ramsar Wetland of International Importance since 1992 (~85,000 ha), MPA status since 2013. Important sea-turtle breeding and bird habitat. Killing/capturing protected species is banned everywhere under Art. 49, and extractive activity is restricted inside the reserve.
