How spearfishing is treated at Apollonas harbour underwater archaeological site (Naxos).
The ancient harbour works in the modern port of Apollonas, northern Naxos, were declared and delimited as an underwater archaeological site by ministerial decision ΥΠΑΙΘΠΑ/ΓΔΑΠΚ/ΔΙΠΚΑ/ΤΑΧ/Φ21/86867/20724/4511/4218, published in ΦΕΚ 292 ΑΑΠ/2012. Spearfishing, towed-gear fishing, unlicensed mechanical shellfish harvesting and sponge fishing are prohibited there (N. 3028/2002 art. 15 §2 in combination with KYA ΦΕΚ 336 Β΄/2004).
