Overview
How spearfishing is treated at Cape Agios Fokas underwater archaeological site (Vatera, Lesvos).
The marine area of Cape Agios Fokas at the western end of Vatera on the south coast of Lesvos is a declared underwater archaeological site (site 8 on the Mytilene Port Authority's list). Spearfishing is banned there all year under KYA ΦΕΚ 336 Β΄/2004 art. Α§2(δ).
