Ormos Vagionia (Poros) underwater archaeological site

Spearfishing is prohibited all year round throughout Ormos Vagionia on Poros — the ancient harbour bay of the Sanctuary of Poseidon at Kalaureia — which is a declared underwater archaeological site. Basis: the protection-zone decision published in ΦΕΚ 1094 Β΄/2000 (ΥΠΠΟ/ΑΡΧ/Α1/Φ02/38983/1924, «Καθορισμός Ζωνών Α και Β Προστασίας στον Αρχαιολογικό Χώρο του Ιερού Ποσειδώνος στον Πόρο Τροιζηνίας») read with art. Α§2(δ) of KYA ΦΕΚ 336 Β΄/2004, as listed on the Poros Port Authority's current prohibition register. The register states the ban covers the WHOLE bay («όλου του όρμου Βαγιωνιά»).
