Overview
How spearfishing is treated at Plytra beach underwater archaeological site (Laconia).
The beach and shore waters of Plytra in the Laconian Gulf, over the submerged remains of ancient Asopos, are protected by ministerial decision ΥΑ 11707/14-06-1966: spearfishing, towed-gear fishing, shellfish harvesting and sponge fishing are prohibited there, as listed by the Gytheio Port Authority.
