Spearfishing, towed-gear fishing, mechanical shellfish harvesting and sponge fishing are prohibited in the declared underwater archaeological site off the south-west coast of Corfu, a rectangle bounded by 39°21.480'N–39°20.870'N and 020°05.520'E–020°06.580'E (YA YPPO/GDAPK/ARCH/A1/F43/59538/3993, FEK 1726B/24-11-2003).
