Overview
How spearfishing is treated at Thermi underwater archaeological site (Lesvos).
Loutropoli Thermis and the marine strip 100 m out from its shoreline are a declared underwater archaeological site (item 7 on the Mytilene Port Authority register). Spearfishing is banned there year-round under KYA ΦΕΚ 336 Β΄/2004 art. Α§2(δ). The declared area is expressly limited to 100 m from the coastline.
