Gazetted Raja Ampat marine protected area (~100,000 ha, formalized 2021) covering the remote Ayau and Asia coral atolls north of Waigeo. Contains a designated no-take zone where all fishing is prohibited; spearfishing by tourists/visitors is prohibited throughout the Raja Ampat MPA network.
