Marine national park (~13,900 km2, established 2002) in Southeast Sulawesi with a zoned system. Coral-reef areas are designated no-take zones where all fishing is prohibited; only open-water traditional-use zones allow local fishing. Spearfishing by tourists/visitors is prohibited in Indonesian MPAs.
