How spearfishing is treated at General Manx coastal waters (outside Marine Nature Reserves).

Recreational saltwater fishing is open with no licence required. Spearfishing is not specifically prohibited. Anglers/spearfishers must observe statutory minimum landing sizes, must not retain salmon or sea-trout, and must not take bass by spear (bass is rod-and-line only).
