How spearfishing is treated at Forty Foot Bathing Place (Sandycove).
Famous sea-swimming spot at Sandycove Point, Dublin Bay. Under the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Beach Bye-Laws 2012 (in force since 1 January 2013), fishing and angling — all methods, which includes spearfishing — is prohibited at all times anywhere in this area (Schedule 2, Part IV).
