How spearfishing is treated at Evtach (Avtah) Marine Nature Reserve.
Declared INPA Mediterranean marine nature reserve off Nitzanim Beach on the southern coast between Ashdod and Ashkelon, recently massively expanded to extend about 7 km out to sea (max seabed depth ~38 m). Protects sandy and rare rocky habitats and key species such as the common dolphin. As an INPA-managed marine nature reserve, fishing (including spearfishing) is restricted/prohibited.
