How spearfishing is treated at AMP Capo Caccia - Isola Piana — Zona A di riserva integrale (Isola Piana).
Integral-reserve (zona A) belt of sea 200 m wide around the western side of Isola Piana, off Alghero, established by the AMP's founding decree D.M. 20 settembre 2002. Article 4(3) of the decree bans, among other things, both 'la pesca, sia professionale che sportiva, con qualunque mezzo esercitata' and, expressly, 'la pesca subacquea', as well as bathing, diving, navigation and anchoring. The whole AMP is closed to spearfishing (zone B and C too), and this zona A is entirely off limits.
