How spearfishing is treated at AMP del Plemmirio — Zona A di riserva integrale (Capo Murro di Porco).
The single zona A (integral reserve) of the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area, off the tip of Capo Murro di Porco (Siracusa), established by D.M. 15 settembre 2004 (G.U. Serie Generale n. 32 of 9 February 2005). Art. 6 of the decree bans pesca subacquea and every form of capture throughout the AMP, and art. 7 allows in zona A only rescue/surveillance/service, authorised scientific research and licensed guided dives — so spearfishing here is completely forbidden and even swimming and navigation are excluded.
