Zona A (integral reserve) off the north-western coast of Isola di Mal di Ventre, starting from the headland west of Cala Maestra, delimited by the regolamento D.M. 20 luglio 2011 n. 188 (G.U. Serie Generale n. 267 of 16 November 2011). Art. 5 of the establishing decree bans pesca subacquea throughout the AMP, and in zona A the regulation allows only rescue, management-service activities and authorised scientific research — no fishing, diving or bathing of any kind.
