The single integral reserve of the Santa Maria di Castellabate MPA, off the coast between Punta Tresino and Vallone Maroccia. Only rescue/surveillance, MPA service activities and authorised scientific research are permitted, so all fishing is banned; spearfishing is in any case not permitted anywhere in the MPA (the founding decree bans 'la pesca subacquea', and even zona B allows only rod-and-line sport fishing for residents).
