MPA on the Maddalena peninsula south of Syracuse (Ionian Sea, SE Sicily). Spearfishing in apnea is prohibited throughout the entire MPA; transport of spearfishing equipment requires prior authorization (Consorzio Plemmirio zonazione e regolamento).
