How spearfishing is treated at Parco Nazionale dell'Arcipelago di La Maddalena — Area di tutela integrale (Secca di Spargi - Washington).
Named no-fishing box over the Secca di Spargi, better known to divers as Secca Washington, north-east of Isola Spargi in the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park. The park regulation makes it an absolute offence to practise any form of professional or sport fishing inside the listed coordinates, on top of the general zona Ma ban in Annex A of D.P.R. 17 maggio 1996. Spearfishing over this shoal is prohibited.
