How spearfishing is treated at Parco Sommerso di Gaiola (Posillipo, Napoli).
Underwater archaeological park off the Posillipo promontory and the Gaiola islets, instituted by the Decreto interministeriale 7 agosto 2002 (G.U. n. 285 del 05/12/2002). The decree expressly bans 'la pesca subacquea' in every zone of the park — in the zona A di riserva integrale at art. 4 comma 3 lett. g, alongside 'la pesca professionale e sportiva con qualunque mezzo esercitata' at lett. f, and in the zona B at comma 6 lett. f — so spearfishing is prohibited throughout the park. The zona A off Posillipo and the Gaiola islets is mapped separately.
