Integral reserve of the Gaiola underwater archaeological park at Posillipo (Naples), covering the sea off the promontory and the Gaiola islets. The founding decree bans in zona A 'la pesca professionale e sportiva con qualunque mezzo esercitata' and, expressly, 'la pesca subacquea', along with bathing, diving and navigation except for authorised guided visits. Spearfishing is banned in the park's zona B as well, so the entire park is closed to spearfishers.
