Overview
How spearfishing is treated at East Portland Special Fishery Conservation Area.
No-take fish sanctuary on the northeast coast of Portland, added by the 2016 amendment regulations (Fifteenth Schedule, as substituted) and managed by the Alligator Head Foundation. Official boundary starts at Point A, a land-based mark known locally as High Point (18 deg 10' 26.82" N, 76 deg 22' 35.63" W), running off Alligator Head Point and Dragon Point and around the Turtle Crawl Basin. All fishing (including spearfishing) is prohibited except under licence/directions.
