Overview
How spearfishing is treated at Lake Issyk-Kul (open sites).
Amateur and sport fishing, including spearguns outside public recreation zones, is permitted on Lake Issyk-Kul under permit, subject to spawning closures and the all-year ban on sites No. 15 and No. 39. Issyk-Kul trout and Issyk-Kul bare osman may never be taken.
