Stausee Steg reservoir, Triesenberg
What this zone is
Overview
How spearfishing is treated at Stausee Steg reservoir, Triesenberg.
Artificial alpine reservoir at Steg (Triesenberg, ~1295 m), fed by the Valünerbach and Malbunbach. It is the one Liechtenstein water singled out by the Fisheries Ordinance for special angling treatment: day tickets are sold, it is exempt from the daily 4-fish limit (Art. 17(1) FischV), exempt from the general flowing-water closed season, and the 6-day non-member/non-resident cap may be waived for it (Art. 7(3) Act). Angling (rod-and-line) is permitted here; spearfishing remains a non-permitted method nationwide, so this is an 'allowed' fishing zone only for legal angling, not for spearfishing.
