How spearfishing is treated at Khnifiss National Park / Naïla Lagoon (Baie de Khnifiss).
National park (~1,850 km2, established 2006) on the Atlantic coast near Akhfenir/Tarfaya in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, centred on the Khnifiss (Naïla) lagoon, a Ramsar wetland ('Baie de Khnifiss', designated 1980). The coastal lagoon and its bay are a protected wetland where extractive activities including spearfishing are restricted/incompatible with conservation.

Apply to the délégation des pêches maritimes of your region (issued by the chef de la direction de la marine marchande et des pêches maritimes or a delegated chef de quartier maritime). Requirements: be at least 18 (16+ with written parental consent), meet physical-aptitude conditions set by joint ministerial order (medical certificate), and hold third-party (liability) insurance.
