How spearfishing is treated at Zona Nucleo Norte (Parque Nacional Arrecife Alacranes).
Northern core zone (19,732 ha) of Alacranes Reef National Park off Progreso, Yucatan. The management program (DOF 07/12/2007) expressly prohibits recreational diving for sport fishing, sport-recreational fishing and commercial fishing inside the Subzona de Uso Restringido that covers both core zones.
