Overview

How spearfishing is treated at Tikvesh Lake (Crna Reka reservoir).

Large reservoir on the Crna Reka (Crna River), ~12 km southwest of Kavadarci, impounded by the Tikvesh hydroelectric dam. Holds carp, crucian carp, rudd, chub, nase, barbel, perch and catfish and is a notable recreational fishing destination by permit. Spearfishing (spears / underwater guns) is prohibited nationwide under Article 93 of the Law on Fisheries and Aquaculture. Coordinate is the Tikvesh dam at the lake's southern end; the reservoir extends north toward Vozarci.

Issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management (state permit) or by the concessionaire at designated marked sale points for a given fishing ревир/recreational zone (Art. 52). Foreign nationals can be issued a recreational permit without holding a legitimacija (Art. 50).
