How spearfishing is treated at Moscos Islands Wildlife Sanctuary.
Wildlife sanctuary on the Moscos Islands off the Tanintharyi (Tenasserim) coast of Myanmar, established 1927, IUCN Category IV (49.21 km2), spanning Yebyu and Launglon Townships. Access is permitted only to Forest Department staff, so fishing/spearfishing by the public in and around the islands is not permitted.

Apply to the Officer-in-charge of the Department of Fisheries of the relevant Township/State/Division in the prescribed form (Marine Fisheries Law secs 3-7). For visitors, book through a registered, DoF-licensed tour/liveaboard operator that handles permits and clearances.
