What this zone is
Overview
How spearfishing is treated at Tengis-Shishged National Park (taimen/grayling refuge).
National park (established 2011) in the Darkhad region of northern Khövsgöl Province, named after the Tengis and Shishged rivers (Arctic/Yenisei drainage). One of the last refuges for trophy taimen; its waters fall under the Darhat Basin Arctic-grayling ban and Special Protected Areas / taimen protection rules, so general/spear fishing is not permitted.
