Marine protected islet (~200 ha) in the Nouméa lagoon classified as an aire de gestion durable des ressources (AGDR) of Province Sud. Fishing, spearfishing and all collection are strictly prohibited ("la pêche ainsi que toute collecte y sont strictement interdits"); swimming and diving are allowed.
